Life at St. Benedict’s is structured around prayer. We first establish the times for prayer; then we plan the rest of the day’s activities. Prayer is the anchor. We begin the day with the Night Office or the prayer of Vigils, rising before dawn to keep watch for the Lord on behalf of all humanity.
